New song “The Honey Bee” for free download

April 22, 2009 · Print This Article

Inspired by the honey bees housed on Detroit’s urban farms, Shara wrote a song, “The Honey Bee”, which is available for free download (though you do have to register) on www.biggestlabelever.com

Why all the hubbabaloo?  Well, on April 25th, the non-profit Invisible Children will be staging a global event in an effort to rescue the 3,000 child soldiers in Uganda.  Lots of folks are donating music for the cause, so check it all out.  The more energy we give, even with our thoughts, imagining those dear kids not having to carry around guns, I think the better.  So everybody while you are listening to the song, think lots and lots of big, free thoughts for those kids!

Lyrics:

Here the honey smells like the grain

Bees will wrestle the hay for golden honey

And all I ever really wanted was to be here with you honey

All I ever really wanted was to love you

All I ever really wanted was to love myself

and to be happy to be

why not come to poland? your voice is incredible. i reckon you’ll be welcomed calmly although- yes that’s upsetting- you’re not really well promoted in poland i’ve heard you only because last.fm recommended it. i can’t say i’m disappointed ;)

Aw thanks lovelies for the nice invitations! I have few plans of touring My Brightest Diamond music much more this year… (we toured three months straight last fall! whew!) But I certainly hope to tour Poland and Florida before too long! I receive the requests as a loving encouragement. : )

    Hello.

I listened to My Brightest Diamond music for the first time in December 2007 and her music was the trigger for the beginning of the most enduring and endearing relationship I’ve ever had. So, in Lisbon, in the 2nd of December at São Luiz theater I’ll be celebrating a meaningful anniversary.

I’m really looking forward for it and to listen live to ‘The Good and The Bad Guy’: the song that started it all.

    Love,

    J.

Got something to say?
