“All Things Will Unwind” is finally here on Asthmatic Kitty Records! Hooray!!! Party time! Last Friday we had a good celebration at Littlefield in Brooklyn with yMusic and our special guest, Marc Ribot. Detroit DJ Waajeed spun some hot records to get us in the mood for dancing and throwing pom poms.
Just FYI, iTunes is doing a special deal for the first week of sales where you can get the album for 30% off, so that’s $7.99 for each of the albums in the MBD catalog.
You can also find the CD or LP at your local record store, or order it from AK’s humble mail-order website by clicking here. We also have new Detroit-made MBD t-shirts that include an MP3 download for sale right here.
Thanks for the support everyone.

Just downloaded it from iTunes this morning. Shara croons a lyric in “Reaching Through to the Other Side” that reflects the quality and character of the album: “Oh, how gorgeous!”
I just heard ‘I Have Never Loved Someone’ for the first time on your new release and it devastated me emotionally…but in a good way. Thanks for composing a truly wonderful song.
I am from Turkey and I bought your CD from amazon as I did the same thing since your AWRY time. You are the one who inspires me a lot with your talent on music and your voice, lyrics, melodies and even your music videos are marvelous. I think you have really creative people around also and as you said your grandpa said to you “dont quit”, I beg for the same. please dont quit. as I wait every new work of Polly Jean, I wait for your works too, because each of your works has really significant point of view affecting people’s lives, at least mine is affected deeply. Thanks and kiss Constantine for me.”Everything is in line all things will unwind”
why your new record is so hard to find in European retailers ? it’s a shame !
Thank you so much Ozgur!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hey Shara!
My English is not so good, so please forgive me…
Music is my life you know.My job is to listen to music the whole day through in search of new stuff (in the past I’ve had a record shop for 5 years).
I love many many different kinds of music.I would say I’m open minded. And you Shara are open minded too.Everybody can hear it on your new record it’s in each tone!
The Music on your new record for me is fresh, unheard and full of emotions.I’ve seen the new live videos with the orchestra on you tube, and something happened…I started to cry and my heart felt so light and beautiful!
It happened with each track I’ve watched.
I feel your music and you as a person very close to me.
For the first time in my life I decided to travel such a far away distance to go to a concert of somebody and to go alone, without my friends. You’re my best kept secret !
I’m full of anticipation to see you in Cologne.
P.S: And I have a son called Konstantin (with K)
I love the words you wrote for your Constantine!
So thanks a lot for what you give, I’m so happy that people like you exist! Let’s be brave!
Freddy
